September Video Game Wrap Up

sptebda

Well, this month went exactly as I expected: so busy and sleepy that I barely did any gaming, so this is probably going to be a very short post. There’s some irony in the fact that because I spend my days working on a game I’m too tired to play any. I’ve gotten to do some fun character design stuff though so that’s cool.

I did manage to finish Detroit: Become Human for the second time, this time with a happier ending than on my first run! Eeeverybody lived! Connor got a hug again! Yaay!

Other than that I haven’t really been playing anything enough to be worth mentioning I guess? Except Coloring Pixels. I’m addicted to Coloring Pixels. Someone mentioned it to me on Twitter and it happened to be free so I decided to try it and I have been playing nothing but that for like two weeks. I made a video about it this week too so I’m just gonna include that here because it’s easier to show than explain what it’s about (well, it’s about coloring pixels).

Since I don’t really have any other games to talk about here’s a little list of games I’d like to play once I have the time and energy for it:

I’m also hoping to treat myself to some new games in October too since my birthday is in two weeks! Gonna need to try to hunt down something fun from my wishlist haha. My friend and I also pre-ordered Bryan Dechart’s (he plays Connor in Detroit: Become Human) fan t-shirts so I’m really looking forward to those arriving!

Also, my class is making a little trip to the Northern Game Summit next week so that’s gonna be potentially cool or terrifying. I have no idea what to expect but I know there’s gonna be a lot of fancy game industry people speaking there. Wish me luck! :’)

Have you guys been playing anything fun?

  1. I love A Normal Lost Phone! It can be polished off in a few hours and it’s a wild ride from start to finish!

My primary accomplishment is that I played every game in the Life is Strange series for the first time, so I’m all caught up and ready to start Life is Strange 2! I started Witcher 3, and I really love it so far.

    1. I tried Normal Lost Phone a little bit already but I think I’m gonna need to be a bit more awake to actually get somewhere in it :’D
Ooo Life is Strange is fun! I’ve only played the first game myself because I keep putting off buying Before the Storm for some reason.

      1. I’d also like to take a moment to thank you for pointing me in the direction of a means of reliving my childhood via painting by numbers. I’ve been playing obsessively for hours now and can’t stop!
